SCSI disk drives

Have any of you added a new SCSI drive (fixed or magneto-optical) to
an X/32 lately?? One of our research groups wants to buy their own
1GB drive. I have to recommend what to buy. I have generated the
"list of supported devices" from Bruker's "ncrtest" on the system.
The problem is that most of those drives are now considered obsolete
by most vendors!! The newer drives are physically smaller, with
greater capacity, faster access times, and cost less! Any
recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Bill
