Bruknet/Solaris2.x?

Hi ---
I've got a quick question for the Bruker community re:
Bruknet. We've just upgraded one of our machines to a Sun
Sparc Classic, which utilizes Solaris 2.x as it's operating
system. We'd like to run bruknet on this machine for data
xfer off an Aspect 3000; unfortunately, there have been some
significant changes in the Sun networking protocols of late
and our previous version of Bruknet will not be compatible
with the new OS without some source modifications. I've
been told that upgrading Bruknet is a rather low-priority
item for Bruker itself; hence, I'd like to see if anyone out
there knows if this has already been achieved by other parties
before I tinker with it myself. Please email replies to the
