Big SCSI drives for Aspect

I would be interested in hearing from someone who has actually used one of
the large (1 GB) SCSI drives Bruker is now shipping with their Aspects.
It sounds crazy to me, because the antiquated file system that Adakos
uses, with no directory structure at all, makes even a 160 MB drive a
nightmare to administer and extremely slow when the directory begins to
get large.

The switch to a SCSI interface, however, makes a lot of sense; does anyone
know how much it costs?
