Converting Data

Dear BUMers,

I need to transfer some data files, originated on our AC200, to our
DPX400 for processing. The AC200 files reside on an disk attached to a
Macintosh. They are transferred to there from the AC200 by Macintosh
NMRLINK. I have created all the necessary directories on the DPX's
Aspect Station, and transferred the AC200 data, and the DISNMR.CONF
files into their correct places by ethernet, according to the XWINNMR
manual, pages 106-108.

Now, here's the problem. The conversion program to extract information
out of the DISNMR.CONF file seems to expect it to have been reorganised
into 32-bit words. This appears not to have been done, and I seem to
have no means to do it. Macintosh NMRLINK does not offer this
conversion, unlike PC NMRLINK seems to do. (Please don't suggest the use
of a PC, because we don't use them.)

So, no useable DISNMR.CONF file, hence no AC200 data processing - or
maybe you know otherwise!

Has anyone got any suggestions? And how do I deal with data from a
machine for which I no longer have the DISNMR.CONF file?

Alan
