Engineer in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Facility (Staff Associate)

A service engineering position is available in the NMR facility in the
Department of Chemistry at Columbia University. The facility consists of
five to seven NMR spectrometers and approximately seven UNIX
workstations. Major duties include maintaining, trouble-shooting, and
repair of spectrometers, interaction with NMR vendors, cryogen
maintenance, and assisting manager in maintaining workstations and
operating specifications of instruments. Applicants must have a B.S. in
science, engineering, electronics, or NMR engineer experience.
Electronics experience and good communication skills are required. UNIX
experience is helpful. Send resume, description of relevant experience,
