Xsim and Irix 6.x; Xsim SGI bug

All SGI Xsim users:

SGI discontinued support of COFF format binary files as of IRIX 6.1.
Since nummrit.irix and dor.irix were compiled with IRIX 4.0.5, they
are in COFF format and will not run under IRIX 6.x. A re-compilation
of NUMMRIT and DOR into the ELF format is planned as soon as I can
get access to an SGI machine with a FORTRAN compiler running IRIX 5.2
or higher.

Expansion (zooming) of spectral regions in Xsim is normally done by defining
the beginning and end of the expanded region with the LEFT mouse
button. If one accidentally uses the middle mouse button to define
the second expansion point (as would be done in uxnmr) SGI machines
will dump core. This appears to be a bug in SGI's X libraries
as other platforms are unaffected. A fix should be available shortly.
In the mean time, just remember not to use the middle button when
defineing regions for zooming.
