Running Xwinnmr "from" xfree86

Dear list
following the succes in getting dept.au, Ill try another question: I have
succeeded in running xwinmr (1.3) from another computer (OS/2 w4) with
xfree86 v. 3.3.3. It works fine except for one thing: when the cursor is
over the xwinnmr-window the spectrum disappears. The spectrum appears
again, when I move the cursor away form the window. Which faq have i
overlooked ?
