setting the drift on a bsn-18 answered, thanks

No need to reply further to this message, Henry Luhrs from Bruker gave me
exactly the information I wanted which I post below:

You set the drift for the number of units that the field
moves in 24 Hours. So, if your field for a given sample is at 3245 on
Monday at 10:00AM and it is at 3242 at the same time on
Tuesday, the drift is set to -3 (minus three). To set the drift, you
may have to first set the spin rate to 0 (zero) and turn on the
spinning. Some versions of the firmware had that restriction to
prevent students from mis-setting it. Just be sure to return the spin
rate to 20 when you are finished.
