Hello Spinlanders,

Help!

We have a Bruker AC-200 NMR system with an Aspect 3000 computer. I was
running an overnight 29Si acquistion in unlocked, undecoupled mode. When I
arrived this morning, the SCM alarm was sounding. Pressing the STDBY key
stopped the alarm. I did not notice if there was an error code on the LED
display. The 29Si overnight data was garbage. I thought that this might be
due the the experimental conditions.

Later this morning, I setup to run a proton decoupled 13C experiment on a 100
mg sample in 0.6 ml DMSO-d6. While the experiment was running, I checked the
data. Garbage.

I can see the decoupler signal on my oscilloscope. I can not see the
transmitter signal (SI=256W, PW=100us, rapid pulsing). The output of the
decoupler and transmitter goes through a 20 dB attenuator before entering the
oscilloscope.

Any ideas will be very much appreciated. Will be away until 14 September.

Best regards,

Lawrence
