We have a 4050tn connected to an Indy running 6.5 and Xwin 2.5.
I think that we configured as a HP 4000 (available in 6.5.2)
for awhile and it worked ok. If you're using Impressario, you
can pull the PPD file from the driver CD that comes with the plotter.
Copy the file from win9x/english/disk2/hp4050_4.ppd to
/var/spool/lp/PPD_model/hp4050_4.ppd. I think that you've got to
be running 6.5 for this to work.
