Hello,
As you can tell from the subject line, I am having problems
printing to my laser printer (HP LJ 4) directly from the console.

I checked the connections going to the LJ from the floppy disk
board and all are connected. I also swapped in another floppy
disk board to check the board, but still no change in the problem.

The Laserjet does work fine if put onto a PC.

I did have concern about the serial-to-parallel converter box
so I purchased a new one, but I do not know if I have
the proper settings for the new device.

I did try using a HP Plotter (7550) hooked up to the RS232
port (using D) on the floppy card, but still had no luck.

We are able to print spectra via transfer with NMRLINK and WINNMR,
so at least the reserach people are happy.

Any good ideas where to start would be great.

Thanks -charlie
