Thanks BUM,

Everyone has suggested humpcal and I have been looking at it. It doesn't
calculate the asymmetry, but does calculate the line width. I also need to
be able to get the results into a file or parameters that I can read and use
in another AU.

It may be possible to write an AU similar to humpcal that does what I want.
I am looking at it now. If you have anything to contribute or would like to
help please let me know.
