AIMPAC Utilities contor(3) NAME contor - produces contour maps of GRID output SYNOPSIS contor grdfile > plotter DESCRIPTION The CONTOR program reads in a grid of data (grdfile) output by GRID, produces a contour map of the function, and the output is redirected to the output device for plotting. ARGUMENTS grdfile (for example 'hcoh.grd') The grdfile contains a grid of data output by the program GRID. The output grid is plotted with the following conventions. 1) Rho, the contours are solid and range over the values listed below. 2) Del-squared rho, the negative value contours are solid, the positive values dashed and the values range over negative and positive values alike as outlined below. 3) Transition density, the positive contours are solid, the negative values dashed, and they range as follows. The contour values are (in atomic units); 0.001,0.002,0.004,0.008, 0.02, 0.04, 0.08, 0.2, 0.4, 0.8, 2.0, 4.0, 8.0, 20.0, 40.0, 80.0 200.0,400.0,800.0 EXAMPLES contor hcoh > /dev/tty02 (printer device) This requests a calculation of the contor map of the function in hcoh.grd.
