The NEC disk drive (8-inch Winchester D22X7 Series) on our AM-400 is making
a bad bearing/fan type noise and I fear will soon crash.
1 Has anyone out there replaced the bearing sucessfully.
2 If the worst happens. Where can the Hitachi replacement disks be
obtained?
