Data Format of Bruker NMR files

I have had occasion to look *very* carefully at the data format of
nmr files stored using DISNMR and have found that, at least in my version
(DISNMR 87), the published data format does not coincide with the actual
data format. My reason for doing so was to write a program for a PC which
would display Aspect spectral files that have been 'kermitted' over. It was
necessary to be able to read the header information and I wanted to be able
to read and translate any of the parameters stored there. There appears to be
a misprint concerning the position of the data towards the end of the header
section (at least in my DISNMR version). The manual indicates that the
parameter MI is stored at position 130 whereas it is actually located at
position 128. All parameters after this are similarly off by two positions.
If anyone is interested I can post the actual data format (and the spectral
display program for that matter) for downloading by ftp.
