Build-up on spinner stator

Folks,

Here's a super high tech problem! We find with our spectrometers
under heavy open-access use by the chemists that we always get a waxy
build-up on the sample spinner stator and the sample stops spinning, of
course. As hard as we try to get them to "clean up their acts", we always
wind up with this silly maintenance job on a regular basis. It'd be nice
to make it "go away" even though sometimes we can get away with a
sophisticated tool comprised of a wooden dowel with padding at the end, and
isoproponol. You have to drop the shim stack and clean the little jets
sometimes, and that means time spent shimming...

Has anyone stumbled on an easy solution to this?

Mike

P.S. We prefer to spin on the older instruments ... with the newer ARX it
doesn't make a big difference. M.
