Dear Bruker Users,

I would like to propose for your attention a simple Air
Valve for Bruker's spectrometer. Our old spectrometers were
not supplied with such Air Valves which are installed into
lift-line and solve sample spin problems.

We use such air valves two years on our old
spectrometers AM 300 and WM 250. My construction is very
simple and inexpensive. It uses the Earth gravity and
contains a minimum of metallic parts. We made the
transparent body from organic glass and piston from black
ebonite. It is always visible status: piston up - close and
piston down - open. It is easy to maintain and to clean up
it. Four detailed drawings as TIFF-files are downloaded to
/pub/nmr/hardware directory in the BUM server
(128.32.144.132). (DXF-files are also added last minute).

Last year I have sent all drawings and device to Bruker
company via Dr. U. Eichhoff (Bruker, Moscow), but Bruker's
engineers was not interested in this construction. Now you
may use and copy this device without any restrictions.
