Nitrogen NMR

I am looking for information or assistance concerning running of 15N on an
AMX500. I have no problems seeing enriched N spectra or standards such as
nitromethane or formamide, but when I look at natural abundance N in free
amino acids I see nothing. Some papers mention seeing signals from 200mM
solutions but give no other info on conditions - how long did they run it
for?? The parameters that I am using are: on an inverse probe and pulse
program zgig; S2=12dB, P1=28uS, P31=125uS, D1=10S, HL1=0dB and cpd=Waltz. So
what kind of sample concentrations, number of scans, etc. (conditions,
parameters) should I be looking for or any other tricks??
