Pascom file conflicts

Dear Bruker Users,

I have a system in which I concurrently run two Pascom programs in the two
halves of an Aspect 3000. The two programs both access a text file for read and write
operations from time to time. There is therefore the possibility of both programs
needing to access this file simultaneously. Does anyone know of any way by which each
program might check to see if the common file has already been opened by the other one?
Such a conflict has already arisen, and the consequence is that a write operation
failed to occur, but there does not appear to have been an error message, and the
program did not crash.

Thanks in advance!

Alan
