An Assistant position (Associate staff AS5355) is available in the Nuclear
Magnetic Resonance (NMR) facility at the University of Maryland.
Applicants must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in science,
electronics or engineering and three years of relevant work experience. Job
requirements include electronic and mechanical skills, ability to work with
application software (Unix experience preferred) and computer-interface
hardware, and good communication skills. Experience with pulsed NMR
or RF electronics is desirable. Major duties will include maintenance and
repair of spectrometers, assistance to users, and interactions with external
