Bruker Canada Controls Customers

This is especially for Bruker Canada customers [Trapped Scientists!!??]
On several occasions I have felt that Canadians were getting hosed by
Bruker Canada for excessive prices. I have in my possession two quotes for
the same item Also using the same part number i.e. Bruker part number, but
the price from Bruker U.S.A. is less than (one tenth 1/10) the price quoted
from Bruker Canada.Our purchasing agent questioned the high profile
individual at Bruker Canada and explained that since the price was less at
Bruker U.S.A. that was where we wanted the part from. The high profile
individual at Bruker Canada said, "the part we will deliver is better made,
because we get it from Switzerland". They Bruker Canada REFUSED to get the
said part from the U.S.A.. I would like to know WHY BRUKER CANADA SHOULD BE
ABLE TO DICTATE TO US, where we are to purchase equipment. I think it is time
we got together as customers and got this silly situation changed. I have
both quotes in my possession for viewing and I got the parts from the USA by
bypassing Bruker Canada and that (terrible American made VS Swiss made part
is working just fine thankyou).
