By now most of you will have seen Leo Turner's complaint earlier this week
regarding our pricing. Needless to say we disagree with Leo's statements. The
part in question concerned an insert glass which is indeed available from BII or
even Wilmad at a price considerably lower than ours (although not a factor of
ten - especially if you take into account shipping, customs handling etc). For
customers who want to chose this route we have no objection to their doing so.
Indeed we encourage our customers to get the best value for money and have
indicated the Wilmad route to several already.
If there are parts of this general type that cost significantly more in Canada
than the US
I encourage everyone to point them out so that we can re-source them or
otherwise facilitate their purchase at the best price (and value) for our
customers.
