We are having an opening for a BS/MS level research associate in the
Corporate Research Division at Procter and Gamble located in Cincinnati,
Ohio.
The primary responsibilities for this individual are: operating, maintaining,
and upgrading MSL-300 and CMX-200 solids NMR spectrometers; helping to
implement and develop new solids NMR techniques; conducting solids and
solution NMR experiments in support of the Company's long-term and short-term
research projects; sharing responsibilities for day-to-day operation of the
NMR lab. We would prefer an individual who: has a solid background in
chemistry and physics; has extensive experience in computers; is a good team
player; has good oral and written communication skills; takes initiatives and
follows them through; demonstrates good thinking and problem-solving skills.
Experience in NMR and knowledge in electronics are desired, but not required.
We expect this individual to gain considerable expertise in NMR through
extensive training programs, which will be provided both inside and outside
the Company.
