They are no text files (at least not on ASPECT 3000), they are generated
during the AS (Automation Setup) Procedure and must be input manually. When
reading the file (converting the 24bit Bruker words) there seems not to be
any hint for a text format, nor for an easy to use floating point format.
At least one point seems to be represented by 8 Bruker words (=24 normal
bytes).
