escape sequences from A3000

I'd like to be able to send arbitrary escape sequences from an Aspect 3000
computer to the printer, in order to "program" an ink-jet printer to produce a
12-pitch font, a nice left margin, "economy" mode [to save ink], etc. Is
there a simple way to do this? I can generate a file of arbitrary byte
sequences off line on a PC and send the file to the Aspect via ZZNET or
NMRNET. Could the ADAKOS "PRINT" command be used to "copy" escape sequences
from a file to the printer? If not, then does anyone have a program which
will do the job? Could an ".EXE" file do the job, or is the script language
for ADAKOS too primative?

Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.
