gradients

BUMers,
I have been trying to implement Lewis Kay's sensitivity-enhanced
gradient enhanced experiments for measuring 15N T1s and T2s (Farrow et.al.,
Biochem., 33, 5984 (1994)) on our DMX500. At certain delay values of T1
and at longer delay values of T2 (viz., 120ms), I get distorted peak shapes.
The peaks are sort of shaped like a heart. It seems to be a gradient related
problem. If I turn any pair of gradients used for artifact suppression off,
the resulting peak shapes are fine. The number of gradients used seem to cause
a problem. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
