POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS - BIOMOLECULAR NMR
UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA
As the result of a recent move to the above University to lead a new
Program in Structural Biology coupled with the establishment of a premier
NMR laboratory containing a selection of high field NMR spectrometers up to
18.8T, applicants are invited for two open Postdoctoral positions. The
field of research will involve the use of NMR methods to forge new
inroads into the characterization of: the structure and metal exchange
properties of proteins involved in metal homeostasis and/or;select
molecules involved in the immune response (immunophilins, cyclosporin A,
calcineurin) .
The successful candidates should have a Ph.D in Chemistry, Biochemistry
or Biophysics, and demonstrated abilities (eg. through publications) in
NMR. Experience with computational methods and protein
expression/purification techniques will be given special consideration.
The positions are available immediately, the salary competitive and
commensurate with experience with a term of 2-3 years.
