Solid State NMR of Polymeric Systems
My laboratory has an immediate opening for a post-doctoral position to perform
research in the area of organic polymeric and advanced composite materials.
The primary focus of research will be studying mechanisms and rates of
addition polymer reactions, environmental degradation reactions of polymers,
investigation of spatial heterogeneity in advanced composites, and molecular
mechanisms of relaxation and transport in polymeric systems. The candidate
should be able to plan and perform theoretical and empirical studies in these
areas. I currently operate an XL-400 spectrometer, however, over the next
several months we will be upgrading to a Tecmag Libra system. The position is
funded for five years, but will be reviewed yearly. The salary and benefit
package will be very competitive. Please send (e-mail is preferred) resume
