I have been trying to optimize experimental parameters for
Inversion-Recovery Experiment on a ARX-300 NMR spectrometer. In this
regard, I have recently Inversion recovery experiment to obtain proton
T1 values for Ethyl Benzene by following Avance Guide. The values
obtained look very unrealistic and are given below:
Proton T1 for Methylene group: 18 intensities fit: 2.65 ppm, T1=
13.290s, Std. Dev. = 7.918e-03s.
Proton T1 for Methyl group: 18 intensities fit: 1.23 ppm, T1= 11.236s,
Std. Dev. = 5.898e-03.
Since, this is the first T1 Experiment, I have performed in graduate
school, I really don't know what went wrong. Any suggestions or help
appreciated.
