Hi, friends:
When we do MAS NMR in our MSL-300 using Bruker CP/MAS probe (7mm),
we use a special black marker pen (I believe that it was made by
Faber-Castell in German) supplied by Bruker to paint the insertion part of
the cap, so the cap will not be easy to pop out the rotor during the
spinning. This was suggested by Bruker and worked very well. Now the
saleswoman of Bruker in Billerica said that the Bruker did not supply such
pen anymore. I tried different kind permanent markers bought from local
stores, none of them worked well because the marker was too thin to stick
the caps on the rotors. Can anyone out there suggest some alternatives which
we can obtain in U.S.? we deeply need it now. Thanks in advance!
