Dear Bruker users:
In our laboratory we have an AM-500 with a ethernet controller, for
data transfer to a PC.
The past year, we had an AC power shut-down, and when restart the power, the
ethernet system do not work. We found a failure of the power supply
of the ethernet controller, which cause to damage a board. We send
to Bruker to repair, the 3 boards of the ethernet controller.
The problem we have now, is that the boards we received repared,
continue without work.
The problem we have is:
That the Aspect do not found the PC station (PC unreacheable),
BUT the PC found and send messages to the ASPECT, and:
sometimes, the Aspect receive the message, BUT with errors,
sometimes, the Aspect receive the message correctly, and
sometimes do not receive any message from the PC, and the PC begin to receive
the same message that sent to the Aspect!,(message from aspect station),
(a ping?) and the program is lock in this routine and must restart the PC.
The ethernet controller status indicator read a "9".
Of course, we verify the coax cable and the 50 ohms terminations work OK.
We are using the Bruknet version 911201.
The self check of the ethernet controller is OK.
The ethernet controller, worked very well until we had the shut-down problem.
I appreciate any help on this problem.
