I have a problem with snapshot and xwinplot - the image comes out with very
poor resolution. This is on a Bruker AMX500 and Xwinplot v1.4.4.

If I have a spectra on the screen, do a screen capture with snapshot - save
the file as file.rgb, then use convert from ImageMagick (convert file.rgb
file.tif), move the file to my PC and look at the file with Corel PhotoPaint
or any other program the image is very sharp!

If I take that same spectra on the AMX500 and move it into Xwinplot, do some
annotation, then do a screen capture with snapshot and follow the same
procedure to my PC the image looks very poor quality (like very low
resolution). If I send the Xwinplot image (from within xwinplot) to my HP
Laserjet it looks very good or if I expand the image on the AMX500 screen it
looks good from within xwinplot.

Does anyone have any suggestions, is there a better screen capture program,
has anyone else seen this problem with snapshot and Xwinplot???

Thanks in advance!
