Bruker is not alone in losing interest in Mac software. Most software
companies now produce their products for Macs as a second thought. This
is certainly because of the uncertainty in Apple's future; Wall street
types have been predicting Apple would be purchased by another computer
company. Who knows if they would continue the Mac platform. Very few
instruments are shipped with apple computers attached these days. Maybe
it is the case of the rats jumping when the boat starts sinking but that
is the way things have turned out.
