Using Aladdin Ghostview I have found the work to require a two step
process. The first step in creating an .EPS file modifies the first line
and creates a bounding box. Once such a file is created and saved you need
to open it again in Ghostview. A new Edit menu item is available, "EPS
preview". then you need to select "Windows Metafile". Save it as "<new
name>.eps". With MS Word, (presuming you have installed the filter) you
select "Insert...Picture" and select the completed .EPS file. I use MS
Word version 7.0. You can install filters for Encapsulated Postscript or
HP Graphics Language. Both of these are usable with Xwinnmr or Aurelia
output.
