Dear Bruker Users,

The serious problem with "tr", which I believe is now fixed, was that
the software incorrectly reported the number of scans (as viewed by "2s
ns" or "dpa"). But even so (looking on the bright side), no scans were
left out of the final data file, and if you let the experiment run to
completion, it would take just as many scans as you asked for.

For Avance systems, the problem was corrected with patch level 5. For
AMX systems, it is supposed to be fixed with patch level 8.

I agree with Bob Sato that the display is confusing. In XWINNMR (and
UXNMR as well), the on-screen fid is cleared by "tr". In some software
versions, the on-screen scan counter may also be reset to zero. If you
like, you can consider these to be display artifacts; no data is lost,
and the fid is stored as you would expect, and it can be processed.

Tony
