replacements for HP7550 plotters?

Dear Users,

I have 3 spectrometers which currently produce output on HP7550 plotters,
and am looking for suitable replacements as these are getting old and
expensive to repair.

One of the spectrometers is a 1990 AMX 400 with the original 2 channel
nmr interface and so it will only run quite old software, UXNMR 920801.
It is therefore unlikely to be able to support some of the most modern
printers.

I am looking for something to output A3 size, with automatic sheet feed,
colour ideally but black & white if necessary.

I have investigated Roland plotters, but have been told they don't have
any auto-feed models.

I think my best option may be an A3 printer which copes with HPGL commands
by emulation, so I would be grateful for any recommendations for these
or any other solutions to my predicament.

Regards,

Phil.
