A. I am currently having some problems setting up our Macintoshes as
Xterminals for our Indys. The Macs are running various versions of OS 7 as
well as OS 8.
I have moved the three fonts "7x13B.bdf", "9x15B.bdf" and "helvB12.bdf"
from /u/prog/xwin-nmr1.3 from one of our Indys into the font folder in MacX
and then one supposedly should be able to convert the fonts. However I can
find no option that enables me to do this.
Is there a separate compiler available somewhere or have I overlooked
something obvious?
B. On the PC-end the problem is similiar but not identical. We are
running Windows 95 with Solstice PCxware as the x program. Compilation of
"helvB12.bdf" works fine but the message cannot convert "7x13B.bdf,
9x15B.bdf" comes up for the other two fonts. I did set the permissions to
777 on the Indy before copying the fonts, in case that was needed.
If someone can give me a hint for solving these problems I would be very
grateful.
