Here is another (simpler?) way:

Go in XWINPLOT to Options, Printer Setup, select the last printer: TIFF. Next
go to File, Print, To File, and give the filename with the .tif extension. Next
FTP (using binary) the file to the PC under Windows95, open Word97, Insert,
Picture, From File, select the file type as *.tif, open the file into your
document. You should see the correct plot. Double click on it and you can edit
using Microsoft's so-and-so drawing tool.
