we are now working with the mestrec-freeware program since one year and are
very happy with it. After now having got a DPX-spectrometer equipped with a
SGI-computer we also tried the
send-mail faility of the xwinnmr2.1 program, that sends NMR spectra in
JCAMP-dx format via
e-mail to our PC. When I try to open this dx-file with Mestrec1.5.1, I get
an ugly visual C++ error message "Debug assertion failed" , regardless of
using any of the compression mode or none.
Has anyone of you experience on that topic or could tell me what we are
doing wrong?
