software attenuation of X-channel

Dear BUMers,

I have a question for some of you. We have an AMX3 400 MHz instrument
equipped with B-SV 10 unit without a possibility to control the output
power. Therefore, if we want to run inverse exps there is no way how to
reduce the power for X-decoupling. It came to my mind that it could be
feasible not to switch the power by Sn commands but to attenuate it by
reducing the duty cycle. I tried to include short (55 us) delays between
pulses in the garp sequence, however it didn't work. I assume this is
not alowed at all. Another solution of this problem came to my mind,
i.e. to put the modified garp sequence (with the pulses) to the main
program and flank it by adc - rcyc commands. Hence, I ask wheather some
of you have tried this solution.
