at the University of Karlsruhe, Germany, a new "Research Group" will be
installed
by the DFG (German Research Council). Ths subject of the group is:
"Application of magnetic resonance for the investigation of structure and
transport in disperse systems"
The main aim of the group is the introduction and application of
NMR methods (imaging and classical PFG NMR)
to various problems in engineering sciences.
Incorporated are:
The faculties of chemistry and of chemical engineering of the University
of Karlsruhe,
the "Fachhochschule Karlsruhe",
the Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology,
and BRUKER Analytik GmbH, Karlsruhe-Rheinstetten
For different research projects positions are available for graduate students
(wanting to perform a doctoral work) or for postdocs.
(Payment according to the conditions of the DFG)
The applicants should have experience in NMR Imaging or PFG NMR methods
and should have an university degree in chemistry, physics or chemical
engineering.
