Chemical shift of chloroform is strongly solvent depended:

Solv: CDCl3 DMSO-d6 Acetone-d6 Methanol-d4
Ch.Sh. 7.27 8.35 7.98 7.88

Please, check your spectrometer with neat CDCl3 + drops of CHCl3, TMS.
