We have a Bruker AC-250 spectrometer with an Aspect 3000
computer running ADAKOS version 890201.0 and DISR91. The
spectrometer is normally controlled with Bruker automation
software. This week-end a student was using the instrument and
tells me while searching one of the menus accidently pressed "Z"
instead of the down-arrow key. Subsequently, the screen froze
and the computer wouldn't reboot.
This morning I restarted the spectrometer and now the computer
does a partial boot but then hangs midway through. In the boot
sequence, the last command executed is TX before hanging. If I do
a CTRL-K at this point, I see that the command LO appears to be
the point where it hangs. After a CTRL-K, I get the DISNMR
command line back but JOBS 1 and 2 complain that there's a job
active and job 3 is not accessible.
Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated. I have
spent many hours looking through manuals without success. All
reset buttons that I know about (SCM, keyboard, console, etc)
have been reset. Thanks in advance.
