NMRNET Physical connection

Many thanks for replies. I had an answer from Michelle O'Neil at the
Bruker Center within 5 minutes of posting. All agree that connector 5
is the parallel port. The identifying label apparently fell off our
Aspect years ago. All that remains is some dirty adhesive. I now have
another question. There is already something connected to connector 5.
It is a branched cable that is also connected to port 3 on the Aspect.
The other end goes to the front of the console, near the now unused
Wattanabe plotter, but it does not seem to go directly to the plotter
input. Do any users of NMRNET know what this cable is, and whether it
can be disconnected to run NMRNET.

Dave
