We are in the process of designing a new building for the departments of
chemistry and physics. The plans include a bulk LN2 facility for providing
N2 gas to the building. It has been suggested that we consider installing
transfer lines, to deliver liquid to the NMR labs. Is there anyone out
there doing this? If it works, it sure would simplify the care and feeding
of the NMR’s as well as eliminate the need for multiple dewars. Any advice
would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Tom
