If you are using a dataset list, nevertheless, the file #0 always identifies
the current dataset, i.e. the dataset where the experiment has been started.
Then #1 is the first item on the list and so on. If you want to write only
2 files, only one item on the dslist is needed. It is impossible not to use
the current data set at all. This is what you apparently tried to do.
