Post-Doctoral Position in NMR Spectroscopy
Bruker Canada in conjunction with The York University Combinatorial
Centre is seeking to hire a post-doctoral fellow to develop new
technology in the area of high through-put NMR spectroscopy. The
position, which will be at the York-based facility, will interact
directly with a variety of synthetic chemical companies (e.g.,
pharmaceutical) that are operating out of the Centre. Candidates must
have an intimate knowledge of NMR hardware and software, a keen ability
to trouble-shoot, and a strong innovative drive. Salary is commensurate
with experience.
Equipment available includes an AVANCE 600 with hrmas and flow injection
nmr capabilities at York U. and access to Bruker Canada's AVANCE 500 with
both high resolution and solids nmr hardware.
