Serial-parallel converter

Hi all,

We here in Southampton are running a couple of older Bruker Aspect 3000
controlled spectrometers. One of these uses a clanking, noisy A3 plotter which
has seen MUCH better days; the other uses a quiet, reliable A3 laser printer.
The printer is connected to the Aspect via a serial to parallel converter that
we bought a number of years ago. We would really like to upgrade the
spectrometer with the plotter that has a life expectancy of not very long to a
laser printer but are faced with a problem. The supplier that we purchased the
serial to parallel converter from no longer sells the part and we have been
unable to find a suitable replacement. We were hoping that somebody out there
might be able to provide an alternate supplier - the original converter was
supplied by a company called Inmac.

Regards,

Neil Wells
