NMR Instrumentation Specialist

The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) invites applications
for the position of Instrument Manager (Assistant Research Scientist, a
non-tenure track faculty position). The primary responsibility of the
Instrument Manager will be the maintenance of high field NMR's (500,
300, 200 Mhz ) and training of users in acquisition and analysis of
multidimensional spectra of solutions. Familiarity with or willingness
to learn Mass Spectrometer techniques and maintenance is desirable.
Candidates should have a Ph. D. degree or equivalent training or
experience in Chemistry or a related discipline, ability to diagnose
electronic malfunctions and experience with the operation of UNIX computers.
Salary is commensurate with level of experience of the candidate.
