I have just installed Red Hat Linux 7 on a system, and would
like to use it as an X terminal for XwinNMR (among other things).
I have the X server set for 24 bit (True Colour), and it seems that this
is incompatible with the 8 bit colour used by XwinNMR. Does anyone know
how to configure the Linux Xserver so that it will accept XwinNMRs colour scheme
without switching the whole Linux system to 8 bit colour?
I know that this is possible with the Hummingbird Xserver under NT, but
I can't find the equivalent setting for the Linux Xserver.
Thanks in advance!
